都美竹，女，出生于2002年11月18日，曾就读于中国传媒大学高职学院。

2021年11月8日，都美竹晒出退学申请书以及自己和辅导员的聊天记录，表示自己是出于自愿退学，而非被学校强制退学。

2022年8月，都美竹发长文称已起诉造谣者，称关于部分账号侵犯她名誉权的案子将于2022年9月开庭。
